New Life in the Garden

Climbing Hydrangeas grow at an excruciatingly slow pace, but they are worth the wait. This specimen on our chimney has been pruned to keep it in a compact area, and has become incredibly lush with age.

The Elephant Ear hostas are showy even when they are still opening up. This plant will have leaves the size of a large platter.

Yoshi, the new kid on the block last fall, made it through the winter. Now let's see if it makes David's cut for another season.

Tiny zinnia seedlings in starter trays have graduated to life on the front stoop.
