Debbie's Garden

The following is a photocopy of the text I prepared for a part of my application to Stanford, which required that I select a photo and write about it. The photo is of the front entrance and sign to my Aunt Debbie's garden center (and feed store) in Flagstaff, where I spent a few summers as a child learning about plants, animals, peanut butter and bacon sandwiches, and good old fashioned hard work.

If you are wondering, yes, I was accepted, but I decided to go to Wharton, and I don't regret that decision.
